The simplest and most enjoyable form of massage given in Bali spa villas is the aromatherapy where the whole body is massaged with essential oils. Essential oils are scented oils extracted from the leaves, stems, and roots of various aromatic plants by steam distillation. It is a most relaxing and stimulating massage, which ends with a flower bath. The pressures of a fast life simply melt away with this massage and the user will float on a sense of wholesome fullness.<br />

After aromatherapy the client is generally given an invigorating ginger tea. Ginger tea and other herb teas are provided at most Bali spa villas and Bali pool villas. Besides aromatherapy, a special Balinese massage is also offered to customers. This combines in it aromatherapy and the traditional form of Balinese massage together with some elements of acupressure and stretching. This is generally of a short duration and does not take more than one hour.<br />

Besides these, different Bali spa villas offer different package spa treatments. Some are combination packages of manicure, pedicure, or facial. Some are elaborate packages that will last nearly four hours. This will start with a footbath with scented oils followed by a body wash and then a body massage. The user will then be given a choice in body scrubs made of pastes of turmeric, cream, sandalwood, rice, groundnut etc. And all this will be topped off with pedicure and manicure and finally a flower bath. It will be as rejuvenating a treatment as can ever be.<br />

Bali spa villas will have special massage rooms with massage tables, massage bed, large bathtubs necessary for flower bath, and outdoor showers. Some Bali spa villas will also have additional massage facilities adjacent to the swimming pool. What a spa treatment essentially does is activate the inherent healing abilities of the body and the spa treatments given at these villas activate the body to the utmost.<br />

Those who are not in need of spa treatment can still have all the fun in the world at the Bali pool villas each with its own private swimming pools. These villas are provided with all conceivable amenities and swimming in the pools and enjoying the scents of the garden is a rejuvenating regimen of its own.
